- Videos and installation of Felipe Frozza, brazilian filmmaker in Berlin based, and Rike Flämig, german choreographer and performer.

‚Disruptions‘ (2015, 4’55, DE), ‚Roadblock‘ (2016), ‚Sumud‘ (video-installation-2016, by Felipe Frozza e Rike Flämig)

“Disruptions” deals with the difficulties of movement in a real conflict situation. A dancer starts developing a choreography in front of the wall between Israel and Palestine, but the adverse circumstances prevent its completion.
The wall that was suposed to function as the background for a dance video pushed itself to the centerpoint of a a site specific documentary film.
2015, Germany, filming in State of Palestine (English)
Crew: Felipe Frozza - director, cinematographer, editor, sound designer;
Rike Flämig - concept, director, choreographer and dancer.
Prizes:  “Best Short of the Month”, March 2015, Shortcutz Berlin; “Best Concept”, Stories We Dance, Intl. Video Dance Contest, Genova, IT; “Best Performer”, Stories We Dance, Intl. Video Dance Contest, Genova, IT; “Best Film in the category Human Rights”, 1o. Festival Corporalidad Expandida, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

"Sumud" is a term associated with the Palestinian effort to remain on their home despite the Israeli occupation. Metaphorically it is compared to an olive tree, which develops its roots deeply and begins to bear fruit only after many years.
The video-installation "Sumud" is result of a period of coexistence with the Nassar family, which for more than twenty years has a peaceful way of resistance and struggle to keep your farm away of confiscation and not give place to another settlement Israeli in the West Bank.

The first chapter of the video, "Roadblock", is inspired by the blockades which impede the free movement of Palestinian citizens within the territory. There are more than 400 blockades across the West Bank. Trying to take them out could cause many problems with the forces of Occupation. The alternative is to include them as part of everyday life. In the video, a woman with red dress tries to push with her own body a huge stone blocking the road, while a group of tourists, a dog and a shepherd with his goats pass through the scene, re-creating an absurd situation between rural life and conflict tourism.
In the second chapter, "Figtree," the woman in red remakes the path taken by Daher Nassar in the day he discovered that hundreds of fruit trees from his orchard had been destroyed by the Israeli army. Only one fig tree was left behind, that became at the same time witness of the case, and a symbol of resistance and inspiration to plant hundreds of other trees.

Felipe Frozza is a Brazilian filmmaker based in Berlin. He creates documentary and fictional works for film and stage productions. Working in the border between documentary and fiction he draws from reality as a starting point and pushes the narratives to a point of surreality and absurdity. Currently he studies camera for film in Berlin and he is graduated in International Relations in Sao Paulo. He showed his works at Festivals in Europe, South America and in the Middle East. https://vimeo.com/felipefrozza
Rike Flämig is a post communist performer and choreographer based in Berlin. Using the body as a resistant sign she moves between performance art and contemporary dance. She develops documentary theatre productions and site specific works for public space, theatre and film. She studied Performance Art in Hildesheim and Contemporary Dance in Amsterdam and showed her works in Germany, Eastern Europe and in the Middle East.

_ Konzert: Patrick Weh Weiland solo (Schnick Schnack), 21 Uhr
